italian surname....Forenza??

Postby sarahbertles » 04 Apr 2005, 17:40

Hi everyone. my dad was adopted by an american when he was only 5. I am trying to research our italian roots and all i have is his adoption records. I do not have contact with him. the records are from 1956 so they are very old and hard to read. I try to make out the italian surname, but i havent had much luck on finding anything about it on the internet. I believe the spelling of the Last name is FORENZA. the place of birth says Italy, but the city or town spot is left blank. I know my grandfathers name is Albo Anthony "Forenza". if anyone has any idea if i am even spelling this right, i would love all information anyone has.

thanks again,

sarah

Forenza is present in 53 comuni in Italy. More dominant in Northern Italy and Southern Italy. I would assume by this that your spelling is correct.
