Translation help with Fusco/Bove Marriage Record

Postby pm16 » 15 Oct 2013, 03:42

Hi,
I'm not exactly sure if this is my great great grandparent's marriage record. In some records she is listed as Alessandra Bove and this one is Antonia Bove but can someone please translate it? I can barely read it. Thank you! It is record number 23.

Dated Feb 24, 1866 at 4 P.M. in Maddaloni-
Groom: Saverio Fusco, age 25, tenant farmer, resident in Maddaloni. Son of Nicola Fusco and deceased Angela Farina
Bride: Antonia Bove, 23, spinner, resident in Maddaloni, daughter of Domenico Bove (deceased) and Orsola delle Cave, spinner.
The spouses appeared in the presence of witnesses Onofrio Morotta, age 45, shoemaker, and Luigi Merola, age 26, cart driver and indicated that they wished to be united in matrimony. They also presented all required documents, including their marriage publications and birth records. The town official then read to them articles 130, 1131, and 132 of the civil code and, in the presence of the already named witnesses, asked each if they would take the other as husband and wife and, in the name of the law, united them in matrimony.
