Postby gliesian66 » 14 Nov 2013, 06:28

Can someone please translate this death record for me?

No. 86. Carmina Lizzi
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... n376482181

Also, is her birthdate listed, if so, what is it?

Thanks,
Robert

Largo Santa Croce as in Largo Santa Croce, Lombriasco, Turin, Italy?

Also, I'm puzzled...

(1) If they were living in Troia, Foggia, Italy, (also with the death record being sited there) what were they doing in Largo Santa Croce, Lombriasco, Turin, Italy?

Also...

(2) Is this Nicola Lizzi and his wife Maria Donata Lo Buono or is this Nicola Lo Buono and Maria Donata Lo Buono.

Thanks,
Robert

The death clearly took place in the town of Troia. The reference to the location of the house in that town is Largo Santa Croce. I can't find it on a current map, but it was either a reference to the street on which the house where the death took place was located or possibly to a section of the town itself. As to the father's surname, it was Lizzi.

Thank you so much for this information.

I texted some of my Troia friends on Facebook about Largo Santa Croce (being a street or section in Troia), perhaps they know... but it sure does have my interest.

If there are any other ways of finding this out, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Robert

Robert
There is currently a Piazza Santa Croce in Troia. I also found that the link bellow has a list of the most searched streets in the town.
