Capecelatro and Pappalardo

Postby Katarina » 18 Apr 2005, 00:08

Seeking info on Capecelatro and Pappalardo names. Emerlinta Capecelatro, (possibly from Castelmorrone) and Pascal Pappalardo lived in teh Stella District of Naples in 1877 when their son Alfonso was born. Alfonso was my grandfather. I am seeking info on both these families. Specifically I am looking for siblings, aprents and children of both Emerlinta and Pascal. Any info would be appreciated

For CAPECELATRO family you can request all records( also of Ermelinda) in Castelmorrone, are the civil records from 1809 to 1929; perhaps is interesting for you also to see this Capecelatro genealogy (was noble family) is in Italian language:
buthttp://www.sardimpex.com/Capece/..%5 ... elatro.htm
and are also the branche of Castelpagano(I read that in another your message you mentioned Castelpagano also for Capecelatro records)

For know about Alfonso PAPPALARDO siblings are necessary to know the birthdate of father(head) and so request the story family certificate in Napoli;
Alfonso: on ship's manifest (are two travels with Caterina Genoveffa no maiden name/wife), well I read on ship's manifest "Marchese", noble title, and also noble family; the residence of Alfonso's father was in via MONTE DI DIO(address= God's mount street in Napoli (gorgeous area) Stella quarter; please see the local map
http://myhomeyourhome.hotelsinnapoli.co ... 00/map.gif
For you need, you can request all info in this two Common ( Castelmorrone and Napoli)... regards, suanj

I recently found that Iam from Pappalardo's from Pedara (next to Trecastagni).

If you get this, get back in contact with me.

Pappalardo's are pretty famous in Pedara.

They've even got a town square named after the family!

Ernest Pappalardo was my great grandpa :)
I wish I knew exactly what town he was born, I'm trying to find out so I can get his birth certificate.
His son Ernest Jr is my grandpa.
