Just beginning a search on these families, and figured that I'd start here. Have NO idea from where either of these families originated before immigrating to the U.S. Anyone seen these names in relation to a specific area or village of Italy?
I should, I suppose, also list known allied surnames:
Have you located ship manifest or census info? Where did they immigrate to? By providing as much detail as possible, first and last names, approximate birthdates or ages, children's names, spouses, or other known family members.........it may be possible to locate the town of origin.
Have you tried to access any other records? Marriage license, soc. security app., naturalization papers, death certificate......even an obituary may list place of birth. Also parish records........
