Does anyone know why I can't attach a JPG I thought that was an appropriate extension on here?

Ray you can use a photo sharing site like postimage.org its free and safe
Choose browse to select your file
Choose family safe
upload your image from your computer
Then copy and paste the url for "Thumbnail for Forum1" into your post.

I was able to post it here and then one day it quit allowing me to upload. So I contacted the site administrator he is checking to see whats up cause he says his works fine. LOL
Thanks Marty. Sent a marriage document in email to you.

Perhaps the file size was too big? And it won't attach if you attempt to preview it first - the larger files do take a bit longer to upload.

Not sure if either of these relate to your problem but it has happened to me in the past.

Thank you for the response, I believe it was the file size as I just uploaded a marriage document and it uploaded fine. The graphic I was trying to upload was a scan of a page of a book from a town in Vallelunga. I can't for some reason upload that and it has to be file size.

Sure have you ever seen the villalunga book? I had a cousin I found in Sicily send it to me.
Unfortunately there are a few pages I could have used….but there is so much information in it, names and some dates that really helped with my research. I do not like giving a small piece as a cut off but thats what is needed at the moment as the whole page won't load
