Italian Census Records

Do Italian census records exist for the late 1800's or early 1900's? If so, how do I find them? Thank you for your help!!

They don't exist in the form of the USA/UK ones. Some parishes did a form of census known as Stato d'anime (State of the souls) but not all. Some towns did a Register of the Population which took the form of a census that was updated for many years but it doesn't exist everywhere. Some did Foglio di Famiglia. Not all survived.
