Need help translating a snippet on foundling birth record

Postby Josie07M11 » 08 Mar 2014, 00:40

Hi everyone,

I try not to do this often because I like to try to translate documents on my own - but this one is giving me some trouble.

http://tinypic.com/r/ei5eg8/8

It is for my great-great grandfather Giuseppe Stagno's birth record. He was a foundling. Here is a link to the full record. (It's page 2, so if you want to compare some other handwriting go back a page.)

Thank you!

It translates to:
In execution of the law, we have transcribed and encoded the aforementioned report and inserted it in the volume of documents on page 353.

It is a notation by the official that states that in accordance with the law he has transcribed and initialed the report [from the hospital] and entered it into the volume of records, number 353.
