DEATH RECORD INDEX 28 GIOVANNI TAGLIALVORE DATED 1907: 26 February at 10.15 a.m. It was declared that at 2 p.m. ieri (yesterday), so 25 February at the address Via Provenzano, number not recorded unfortunately, Giovanni Taglialavore, aged 53, Villico living and born in Cianciana son of the late Onofrio and the late Giuseppa Martorana died. He was the husband of Rosa Cicera.
(I have compiled a list of my ancestor's addresses which I will save to a USB stick and I also have a little alphabetical note book for this purpose - I plan to take both with me to Italy one of these years and visit each address and take lots of photos.)
It looks more like compite or compito to me, though the copy is a bit blurry, but I agree that compiuto seems to make more sense and in any case I believe it means the same thing: "accomplished," i.e., the age of 15 has been reached. I've often seen this word on marriage records for minors.
