Dated 2 June 1870 at 9 AM at the town office in Trani
Before the official appeared Nicola Vincenzo Calefato, son of Antonio, age 25, laborer(?) residing in Trani, to present a female child who he declares was born on the 1st of the abovesaid month at 8 AM to his wife, Filomena Nicari(?), daughter of Francesco, age 23, residing with him at the place they inhabit in this town at Strada di Barlotta(sp?),.
This child to be given the name GIOVANNA

Notation in the right column:
On 11 January 1890, Act #7, in Trani, Giovanna Calefato of Nicola Vincenzo, married with Nicola Caruso, son of Rocco.
