Requesting Italian certificates

Postby sue1anne » 10 Jun 2005, 01:04

Where can I buy the postal stamps (does this mean US postage stamps?) for including in a request for a birth certificate. I'm going to send a Letter to Stato Civile to see if I can get a birth certificate for my great-great-grandfather, Davide Tucciarone of Minturno, Italy.

Thank you,
Christina

At most larger post offices you can purchase international reply coupons.

Great, thanks! I'm really getting nowhere in the Immigration records search, so I think I'll try a jump over the ocean to get some death, marriage and birth records. Is it recommended to order them one-by-one in separate envelopes?

Thanks,
Christina
