Death Record Questions - Giuseppe Mattiaccio

Postby jrbonk » 11 Aug 2014, 18:00

I have some questions on a historical death record. I found the death record for my grand uncle who died as a child, but would like some clarification on a few items.

- The name is listed as Giuseppe on the left column, but Felice in the actual document. Could that be his middle name or just a mistake? The birth record did not call him Giuseppe Felice.
- There is some handwriting on the column that seems to say something about verification in May 1884. What does this mean and what kind of verification might have taken place as he died in April?
- Is there anything in the record that indicates cause of death?

Thanks for your assistance!

No cause of death I think it is a typo error for the death index for 1884 is listed as Giuseppe and the birth record is Giuseppe also same parents Registered the death record on that day
