He was one of the witnesses to the declaration of the birth and presentation of the newborn.

I think this was the Fedele Rezzolla that was mentioned:

Who was the newborn, a relative?

Thanks,

Robert
I don't have a subscription to ancestry.com and can't view the link you posted. The Fedele Rezzolla who was one of two witnesses was age 36, the son of deceased Michele Rezzolla, and a day laborer who was resident in the town. Interesting is that this record reads that the witnesses were chosen by the declarant, or the infant's father, Alfonso Pallante. Normally witnesses were just individuals who were at the town hall and served as witnesses as needed. The relationship between Alfonso and the witnesses is not given in the record.

Thank you for the information...

Btw, the Michele Rezzolla that you mentioned is my great-great-great-great grandfather. :)

Well, I can see why this witness was of interest to you. Happy to help.

BTW did you see the info on Leonarda Lizzi who was actually a male Leonardo Giuseppe?

Yes... puzzle is, I found Leonardina's death in another year, but her US death certificate has her birth for this year. So I thought there may have been two Leonarda's. Thanks for your help with this.
