Domonic Ingrassano

Postby c/ork » 26 Jan 2015, 23:26

Domonic Ingrassano

Birth 1820, Caltagirone, Catania, Sicily, Italy
Death 1900, Caltagirone, Catania, Sicily, Italy
This is my GG Grandfather - he is one of several names I've been searching. We're not sure who he was married to but his son Domonic (b. 1843? Caltagirone) was married to Filippia Nicotra. Other names I'm searching for are: Mariano Nicotra (b. 1822) (m. Rosaria Scalora); Joseph Bannina (m. Angela Orlando); Samuel Sinopoli (m. Maria Salutina Francasio); and Musino Francasio (d. 1895) (m. Marianna).

If anyone has the time and patience to help me with these lines I'd be very grateful.

You sure that the Ingrassano didn't come from Mirabella Imbaccari Caltagirone, Catania

Yes he did - over the years I've gotten mixed messages - but one of the primary locations is Mirabella Imbaccari Caltagirone, Catania.

Thank you so much for your information - chuck

Thank you - again my records are very sparse and this was 'verbally' told to me by one of my aged aunts about Dominic.

You're correct - as I was unable to read the marriage certificate that was gleaned from the post here on the board. I'm still looking to get the remainder translated - as there were several keys in it that until the post were unknown to me - thank you for your time in responding to me - c

Thank you so much for finding these documents!! This is again information which I've looked long for! Wish that I could read and write Italian - we were forbidden by step-mother and now age precludes this from happening. chuck
