I can not figure why most of my replies do not appear anywhere, not even under "View your own Posts".
It makes no difference if I use "Quick Reply" or "Post Reply".
I wonder if I my replies are missing, how many others face the same problem?

This happened to me for several days after I first registered my account, but eventually it stopped.
May be the same issue, may not.
TIP: When asking for records from Italy, do NOT ask for an "estratto." ALWAYS ask for a "copia integrale." A photocopy of the original Act will contain more information

I use Quick Reply to see what will happen.
I registered over a month ago and I had no problems with my first reply. 3 replies did not appear but the receiver received them. Four replies disappeared.
The last reply was earlier today re: "Dattellis".

I see my reply appeared straight away. Something is wrong somewhere.

The other thing is if you take too long typing a long reply, sometimes it will delete the whole thing without posting it I have found. If you have to take your time writing a post, make sure you copy it from Word, or just copy it for safety. I've had that happen a few times too.

ps. Jan 24 - Feb 5 is not over a months. Its under 2 weeks.

My messages are never too long, I have seen some very large messages here, but as you said, they may have used copy and paste.
Since my "complaint" everything appears to be fine. Hope it will stay so.

PS: In my mind, I thought I joined Christmas day. My fault, sorry.

Not the length of the message, the amount of time it takes for you to type it. If you start typing, get distracted and then come back and finish it later, for example - it's like the page times out and you lose everything when you try to hit Submit.
