I do not recommend people use google translate for writing in italian, only for translating Italian into English.

When translating English into Italian for the purpose of writing letters or emails, DO NOT use google translate. The language doesn't translate exactly (ie. In Italian it is not "my name is" it is "I am called") and sending really bad records can get you ignored.
TIP: When asking for records from Italy, do NOT ask for an "estratto." ALWAYS ask for a "copia integrale." A photocopy of the original Act will contain more information

The above file is obsolete. The updated version is available here: http://www.tuttogenealogia.it/modules.p ... etit&lid=8

The file links to records digitalized by FamilySearch.

I am getting nowhere with the new link. I managed to register after I had Bing translate into English, but I cannot figure out how to find church or any records. The old link produces a spreadsheet of church links that was easy to use but now says it may be unsafe for my computer.

Back to your original comment about the new link leading to records digitalized on Family Search. Why wouldn't I go to Family Search directly? Is there a FamilySearch.org link to Church records?

Can you set this up on a page that does not require a login?

Yes, that last one works. Get the same warning messages about potential danger to my computer and also frozen panes. Ignored them and got the spreadsheet after clicking on 'qui'. Have now saved the spreadsheet for future usage. Not many towns have church records listed there, but a few do.

These are all the records that Family Search did publish for Italy.
