Longano family Matrice Italy

Postby jmalhoyt » 23 Jun 2015, 04:41

I plan to visit Italy next year and am trying to locate relative currently living in or near Matrice, Italy. My grandfather was Michelanglo Longano and he was married to Maria DiPuccio. They came to the US approximately 1909. My great-grandfather was Giuseppe Longano and he married Clementina Coletta.

What would be the best way to contact this person. I don't speak Italian and he probably doesn't speak English. Any ideas?

The one I found on FB was actually LongIno and he's a black football player. I don't think he's the same family. Just close. Maybe he would know, though-thanks.

I found the other Longano and sent her a message. Maybe she has a translator or speaks some English.
