It says "vedova di" widow of: Vincenzo Piazza Palotto. I would say that Piazza Palotto is a double surname.

Here is the death act (#114) of Vincenzo Piazza, husband of Nunzia Lima, in 1902.
There is no mention of a second surname [Palotto] on this record, and the surname of his mother was Pusateri...

The "Palotto" may have been entered in error... as you can see by the death act next to Nunzia's he made an error in the deceased's name and corrected it...

It is possibly an error, like Tessa has mentioned. It is also possible that the surname "Palotto" was an omission on Vincenzo's death record. I guess with further research you will be able to establish which record is correct.

I've checked the Italian White pages, and the double surname appears in Termini Imerese today, but there is no mention of it appearing in Trabia: http://www.paginebianche.it/ricerca?qs= ... &dv=trabia
