How do I find a birth certificate & Orphanage?

Postby Julie DeValter » 12 Aug 2015, 09:04

I have the marriage record of Onorato De Valter & Corana Checchin.
It says he was born Orphanage but how do I find out?
Is the orphanage still there today?
We were told some of his younger children were placed into a orphanage but they were all born in Galliera Veneta.
Any help would be fantastic.
Thank you.

I see that he was born in Vicenza of unknown parents. Write to the Comune of Vicenza.
