Raul Aiani: Connection to Aiani Family in Italy

Post by Beatles78 »

Hello all!

I have a new mystery that's pretty cool. I have a Raul Aiani who lives in Argentina who contacted me about a possible relation to my Aianis in Italy.

Raul Aiani was born on 14 Nov 1962 in Argentina. The following is his ancestry:
Father: Inocencio Aiani, b. 18 Nov 1922 in Argentina
His Father: Inocencio Raul Aiani (no birth date) born in Argentina
His Father: Ambrocio Aiani, b. about 1848 in Italy, d. about 1930 in Argentina and his wife, Virginia Ballestrini, b. about 1854 in Italy, d. about 1944 in Argentina. Raul told me that she immigrated to Argentina from Genoa, Italy on 22 Feb. 1885.

I have an 1895 Argentina census (attached) showing Ambrocio was born in Italy and immigrated to Argentina around 1886. Shows that his residence at that time was in Partido La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina - age 47.

My Aianis go back to Michele Vincenzo Raffaele Aiani who was born in Stella District of Naples in 1814. His parents were Carlo Aiani and Teresa Tosati, both of Naples.

Can anyone show these connections to Raul and possibly find the parents of Ambrocio Aiani, born in Italy and a connection to my Aianis of Naples?

Thank you so much in advance!
Stephanie

Hello!

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but this is awesome! Is there any way you can translate this document to English for me? Does it name Ambrogio's parents anywhere in this document? How about his wife's parents names?

Thank you very much!
