Postby bluesboy » 25 Oct 2015, 07:23

Greetings, i am searching for the parents/family of Milziade Carbonaro, born at Nicotera. US WW I Draft Reg Card shows Milziade Carbone, born at Nicotera, Catanzaro, Italy 8 Jan 1890. Unfortunately I have no names of any other family members.

Thank you for your assistance and time.

1906 manifest for Milziade Carbonaro, line 15. The notation above his first name appears to be "adop(ted) ch(ild)" which indicates he was the adopted son of line 15, Giuseppe Maccarone. Destination NYC to join Giuseppe's brother-in-law Pasquale Capria.

Hi Biff! :-D
On the 1925 NYS Census that I posted above... the family is residing at 8th AVE.
On the lines below the Carbone Family (Carbonaro) are the Capria and Maccroni (Maccarone) families. I believe Joseph Maccroni is the Giuseppe Maccarone you referenced on the manifest above. He is also a Fruit dealer. :D
