Crocenzi and Di Pasquale

Postby andieh69 » 14 Nov 2015, 17:37

Searching for information on my great great grandparents from Luca Dei Marsi. Berardo or Bernardo Crocenzi and Ana Antonia Di Pasquale. I can see all of the trips back and forth to North America but cannot find any Italian records. They had 7 children (Maria, Dora, Pia, Giovanna, Armando, Pietro Guido, Eda (Aida) not sure how to spell it. Wondering if any one has any information or can direct me to the place I can find it.

Thank you

The name of town should be Luco ne' Marsi (unless you mean Lecce dei Marsi).
Records for town are here:

You can search by yourself, or, if you provide some dates, someone on this forum can do it for you.

Thanks I do mean luco but thought it was dei oops! The two people mentioned above were born 1873/74...this has been challenging as I don't speak Italian and I have a very hard time searching for records. The people on this site willing to help are wonderful and it's appreciated!!!

Unfortunately, records for the years you mentioned are not online. There are only up to 1865. Nor I could find any reference on their parents in travel manifests. There seem to be a lot of Crocenzi's in Luco...

My understanding is they had a huge family. I did hear that Bernardo died in the 1940s and Ana died in the 50s would any records from the 1900s be online or does everything truly stop at 1865? If I write the commune what are the chances they would actually respond?

One other question when looking for Ana di Pasquale should I assume she was from luco as well, or did people move around in those days?
