Luigi Liberati (1885-1969)

Postby Liberati » 14 Dec 2015, 02:51

I am looking for information about my great-granduncle, Luigi Liberati. He was born on 11 May 1885 in Amatrice, and his father's name was Pietro Liberati. My family called Luigi "Uncle Louis." He spent some time living in New Mexico before returning to Italy in the 1920s and settling in Rome. He also had a villa in Velletri that was destroyed during WWII and later rebuilt. I'm particularly interested in trying to learn about Uncle Louis' ancestry and activities during WWII. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Interested in the surnames Liberati and Gulfo. Also interested in Italy during World War II.
