Ralph Jasper 1884-1956

Postby JamesM » 17 Jan 2016, 20:33

Ralph passed away 5 December 1956.
He married in 1905 in New London, Ct, under the surname Esparo.
And I believe he was naturalized in 1941.
There seems to be another Ralph Jasparro, as the one I am researching, used Jasper and Jasparro interchangeably.

His parents were Matteo and Teresa Giarnieri.

According to family, he came from Campagna, Salerno.
And his natuarlization has him as Gasparro.

Where can I find his records online or is this something that needs to be requested from the comune?

Hi suanj,

Thanks for that. It is another variant of the name and birth year
1883 on WWI registration, 1885 on naturalization, 1884 on his obituary and 1886 on the RI census.
One of them has to be right!

Thanks Pippo. May I ask for the Salerno National Archives Military website link?
I'd like to see if there are more Iasparro family members.
