Hi everyone I am searching for a Mario Bonsi he was in a German Labour camp during the 2nd world war if anyone has any information about what happened to Mario Bonsi that would be fantastic thank you

Hi, I found a Mario BONSI born on 28 Dec 1922 in Ferrara and missing in URSS on 1 Jan 1943:
BONSI MARIO 28/12/1922 FERRARA IX BTG. MISTO GENIO URSS 01/01/1943 D ( D= disperso=missing)

Hi ,coincidentally I am looking for someone with the same name from around this time ? (Freda I messaged you ) what is "BTG" and "URSS" Indicating ??

Ride77, BTG significa Battaglione, URSS significa Unione delle Repubbliche Socialiste Sovietiche. Sto facendo ricerche sul BTG (battaglione) a cui apparteneva anche MARIO BONSI (IX Battaglione Misto Genio).
