Looking for great grandparents' birth/marriage certificates

Postby Boberek18 » 17 Apr 2016, 21:35

I'm looking for the birth or marriage certificates of my great grandparents, Pasquale Zacchino and Maria Rosaria "Rose" Caiazzo.

Name: Pasquale Zacchino
Born: 25 March 1894, Campolattaro, Benevento, Campania, Italy
Died: 13 November 1973, Milford, CT
Mother: Nardone Liperata(Riperata)

Name: Maria Rosaria "Rose" Caiazzo
Born: 20 April 1896, Campolattaro, Benevento, Campania, Italy
Died: 5 March 1985, Milford, CT
Father: Antonio Caiazzo

They were married on 10 November 1919 in Benevento, and immigrated to NYC on 1 Nov 1920.

If it helps, Pasquale had two brothers, Domenico who married Antonia Orsillo in Benevento, and Carmine Zacchino.

Microfilmed records for the town of Campolattaro (not currently online) are available through rental from a Mormon family history center, but only for the years 1809 to 1860. I suggest you contact the town directly at one of the email addresses below to inquire about the records for the dates you mention in your post:

Would I specifically ask if they have the records for those people, or just ask if they have them in general? Also, dumb question, but I should type in Italian, correct? Thanks
