July 4, 1964 fireworks explosion

Post by drbdrdeb »

This is an odd one. I am looking for the background of the two men who were killed on a barge in the Hudson River explosion. They were Anthony Amato, 60yo of Secaucus, N.J. and Anthony De Francisco, 40, of Sparkill, N.Y. Both are family names, but I can not place them. Any help from those with long memories?

This article identifies the two men who died by drowining in the barge blast...
It includes their occupations, and names several relatives.
