Liberati or di Norcia family in 1500's

Postby Desideria » 12 Nov 2005, 01:58

I'm trying to find either the Liberati family or the di Norcia family at any point in the 1500's.

Regarding the Liberati: I have a Liberato Liberati, father of 9 children with Anna Valente. Two of his daughters married into my family, and I've not been able to find any information about Liberato and Anna like dates of birth or marriage or death, or their parents' names. The daughters were born in 1610 and 1627, so I presume the father had to be born sometime in the 1500's. My family is mostly from Abruzzo, so I'm presuming they originated there.

Regarding the di Norcia: I have Andrea di Norcia, married to a woman whose surname is Farindola, and they had at least one child, Nicoletta, born in 1682. I'd like to trace both her mother and father, as both have place-based surnames. Farindola is a city in Pescara. And Norcia has been consistently occupied since the 4th century.

Thank you,
