LOOKING FOR BIRTH PLACE

HI GUYS NICE TO MEET YOU I NEED YOUR HELP,im loking for my anchestor:

Name: Nello Cecchi
 
Year of Birth: 1892 or 1893 (he married in Brazil, I have the entire wedding certificate content of it but there just speaks age he married, wife Olga Vanini Cecchi)
   
parents name them: Father: Giosue Cecchi
                                         Mother: Stella Gianotti

Birth Place: Castiglione di Garfagnana or Chiozza (these two comunes are cited in the documents of his irmões), or near comunes (Castelnuovo di Garfagnana this commune is the closest I've seen on the map, but is not mentioned in the documents that I have ))
  
Information only - Brothers:

- Massimo Cecchi (Cecchi Angelo) - 01/01/1892 - Born in Chiozza

- Giuseppe Antonio Mansueto Cecchi - 28/08/1898 - I have no data from which was born, but died in Castiglione Garfagnana on 19/10/1970.

 - Giuseppe Mansueto Cecchi - 1897 or 1898 - Born in Castiglione Garfagnana

- Afonso Ettore Cecchi - 1903 or 1904 - Born in Castiglione Garfagnana

- Luigi Cecchi - I do not have data.
 
I sent an e-mail to Comune of Castiglione Garfagnana but the answer was no, do not know if they came to look for.

Records for 1900 + can be found on line at
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2043811
For the period 1814-1870 you will need to access parish records.
The town should have the records between 1871-1900. If you find the brother in the online records then you should write again to the town. Of course, its always possible the records were lost due to war, fire or earthquake!

I also checked the online indices for the births in Castiglione Garfagnana and didn't see the sons born in the 1900s to the parents you listed, although there are some Cecchi in the indices. There are some online records for the town of Castelnuovo, both towns are at the following link:

Looks like you would need to go to a Family History Center to access that particular collection (Caprarola).
