Giovanni Dimatteo

I'm trying to find information about Giovanni Dimatteo from Caiazzo, Caserta, Campania, Italy b abt 1865 and died abt 1910. His wife was Maria, possibly DiSimone who also was born in Italy abt 1868 and died in Plainfield, New Jersey 1935. They had two sons, Raffaele b 1887 location unknown, and son Dominick b. 26 Oct 1893 • Avellino, Campania, Italy. There is a possibility they immigrated to Connecticut briefly (family rumor), then New York, and Raffaele at least, made it to Plainfield, Union, New Jersey. Giovanni's wife Maria is buried in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Plainfield next to her son Raffaele and daughter-in-law Dora. Since Giovanni isn't buried there he may have died in New York and Maria left to live with Raffaele. I'm having a difficult time finding anything on Giovanni. No passenger list, death, nothing. Some of your dates and info is not right on your ancestry tree did some more research on your Di Matteo family is it possible that Giovanni Di Matteo had 2 wifes Mariangela De Simone and Maria Mongillo or Domenico is not his brother
