Lemalda - a common given name?

Postby KSRattazzi » 30 Nov 2005, 01:30

My greatgrandfather (Carlo Rattazzi) remarried after he arrived in Vermont in the United States. According to the 1920 United States Federal Census, his 2nd wife's name is Lemalda. Is this correct? I've never heard or seen a name like that before.

I guess I should mention that "Lemalda" was also from Italy.
