Hi Michael,

I received your e-mail and your welcome for the information. Glad to help.

Here is 1920 for what I belive is Francesco Saverio Macchia

Name: Samuel F Marchin
[Samuel F Macchia]
Age: 33 years
Estimated birth year: abt 1887
Birthplace: Italy
Race: White
Home in 1920: Edmonds, Snohomish, Washington

Let me know what direction your research needs to go.

We will need facts to see if this is the persons you seek. There are several Jose Macchia and Samuel Macchia (slightly different ages) in the records and need to make sure that we find "yours".

Hi Michael,

I received your e-mail. I will look for some more information for you.

Franesco Saverio Macchia married an Ethel (Hammer is maiden name according to WWI draft card). On the 1920 and 1930 census they have no children listed. I would guess they did not have children, or children died prior to the next census. I could not any children on the Washington State birth index 1907-1919. I can not find them in the Social Security death index. They may have died between 1930 - 1940 or perhaps moved to a different state.

Here is a site to search this index for free:
http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/

I will find the other brother on the 1930 census and post here.

Hi Michael,

I see Suanj has already provided you with the 1930 census of Jose Macchia and his death information. So, in 1930 he is 42 years old, and single. As Suanj stated, very probable he did not have any children either.
