For some reason they sailed the following day... May 7, 1909...instead

The May 6 records had their names crossed off...

It also looks like Andrea may have travelled earlier on as well...

I think the town is Sant'Arsenio....

You are right, they were registered on both ships, but crossed off the first. Do you have a guess why? It looks like Andrea did travel in 1901, but I can't verify if that was him. The name and age are correct, but the residence and port are different. Thank you for the quick reply.

After reading the manifest I do believe that all three records are the Andrea Pica I am looking for. On the 1909 manifest it said he went to America in 1901 for 8 yrs.

To request Angela and Andrea Pica civil records write to:

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
P.zza Domenico Pica -
84037 Sant'Arsenio (SA)
Italy

or contact

Archivio di Stato di Salerno

http://wwwdb.archivi.beniculturali.it/S ... SALERNO%22

A suggestion Angela's last name (maiden) is not Pica so just request her birth certificate giving to the civil record office the date of birth, so you discover her maiden last name!

bye Riccardo
