just working on some family history

Postby eyexist » 14 Mar 2006, 00:53

I have been working on my dual citizenship for 2 months now and I have obtained everything I need from New York, in regards to birth-death-marriage-naturalization certificates. All i need now is my great grandmothers and great grandfathers birth and marriage certificates from Avellino, Italy. Any assistance with finding information on Guiseppe Forgione (born March 2, 1883) and, or Angela Deltore (born June 1892) will be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to write and request "certificato di nascita" (birth certificate) of both Giuseppe and Angela to

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
83100 Avellino
Italy

info@comune.avellino.it

I suggest you to write via ordinary mail, attach to your request (written in italian) a photocopy of your ID, an envelope and an international reply coupon to receive from them the birth certificates (request the plurilingual ones)
bye Riccardo
