Looking for information on Tudisco, Aloisi, Traldi, Giolitto

Postby Rissesco » 18 Apr 2006, 04:13

Hello,

I'm looking for any source material for the following individuals that left Italy for Brazil in the late 19th, early 20th century.

Vincenzo Tudisco married to Lorenza Aloisi Tudisco, children Donato, Antonio and Lucia Tudisco. This family arrived at Santos, Brazil in 1902.

Celso Traldi arrived in Brazil unmarried in 1891.

Virginia Lancetti (unsure when she arrived in Brazil or when she left Italy).

Jose (Giuseppe) Giolitto unsure when he arrived in Brazil, believe it was 1893.

Battista Ferri married to Giacoma Ferri, children Elisabetta, Maria and Rosa Ferri. This family arrived in Brazil in 1897.

If anyone has information on where I might look for birth or marriage records in Italy or ship lists that left Italy for Brazil around these dates it would be greatly appreciated.

This link may help find their arrive dates.

http://www.italians-world.org/Italy/BancaDatiGb.htm

You will need to know the town of origin in Italy to obtain birth, marriage & death records.

Hopefully, arrival records will provide this information.
