surname MINA and FILARDI or FILARDO

Postby emiancestry » 21 Apr 2006, 05:40

Hello,

I’m making my family tree and I’m looking for information about:

Antonino Mina; born in 1876 in Italy; father: Pasquale Mina; mother: Caterina Narda or Nardo.

He married Rosario Filardi or Filardo; born in 1878 in Italy; father: Pietro Filardi or Filardo; Maria Garino or Ganino.

Antonino Mina had several brothers, one was Bruno Mina who came to Argentina too. Rosario Filardi or Filardo had a brother too, his name was Vicenzo Filardi or Filardo.

What I’m trying to know is what part of Italy they were from.
You can see my family tree at Web Page Name

Any information will be appreciated.
Best regards,

Emilia Mina

This guide may help with your research:

I don"t know what info is provided on death records in Argentina, but here in USA, the death certificate sometimes provide the birth town in Italy.

Go after any record you can think of that may provide this information, since you need the town of origin in Italy to do family research.

Hope this helps.....
