If you want to know more about your Barino ancestor, you can contact S. Caterina civil record office, and request, in italian, her birth certificate, so you can know is right date of birth and names of parents

Comune
Ufficio di stato civile
Via Berlino
93018 Santa Caterina Villarmosa (CL)
Italy

Thanks everyone for your help.....all 3 Leonardo Pistorio's on the Ellis Island site are my same great granfather and all 3 give a different place of res........Mary(Maria) Pistorio was born in 1888 and came to the USA with her dad Leonardo Pistorio and her mom Augustina Barino/Marino in 1889 she was sent back to Sicily and returned to the USA in 1901 with her husband Joseph Quattrocchi(e)
the other chrildren Leonardo and Augustina had in Baltimore Maryland are Augustina(Augie),Joseph (my granfather), Angelina(Lena) who married a Leo Monfredo and Ann(Bunny)...
is there any way to see if Leonardo, his wife Augustina and their daughter Mary(Maria) entered threw the port of Baltimore in 1889
is there any way to see when people left the USA

Hi Rose,

Place of residence & town of birth are not always the same.

Recmmend ordering films for Santa Caterina Villarmosa or writing this town as suggested by Riccardo.

Here is a link to the LDS (Mormans) films for the civil records 1821-1910.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... umns=*,0,0

And a link to the church records 1606-1910

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... siastici++

Link to local your nearest LDS-Family History Center

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp

Films are 5.50/5.75 each & you rent & viem them at the FHC.

Hope this helps.

Keep us posted
