Hi Debra,

I noticed you have several posts all pretty much asking for similar info...Could you please limit your posts to one or two sections only?

Its difficult to follow and we may end up duplicating info.

As well as the ship manifest posts. We're working on it, I promise!

Thanks
Nuccia :D

Hi Debra,

Like Nuccia said, we are working on your requests. The problem is that the info provided doesn't match any online records(at lest my researches haven't found any). Are you sure of birth years and locations? Where did they move to in CT? Did they have other children? Do you know, when & where they died? Any additional info may help us locate records.

Hi Debra,

I really think you need to obtain Giovanni's death certificate, Angelo's birth & death certificate and maybe even Angelo's social security application.
All may help with your research. Also suggest checking for naturalization of Giovanni in New Haven, CT. I didn't find a listing for him in the Bronx or Westchester, NY. Church records also can be a good source and property deeds.

Angelo's SSDI information.

Social Security Death Index Record

Name: Angelo Antonacci

There are three towns in Italy with Castelvecchio, so maybe one of the records will provide additional information.

Castelvecchio Calvisio (province: L'Aquila - region: Abruzzo)
Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena (province: Savona - region: Liguria)
Castelvecchio Subequo (province: L'Aquila - region: Abruzzo)

Hope this helps....I'm still looking & will post if I find anything additina;.

No, the above link doesn't work. Go to manifest iage @ EllisIsland, highlight the http, then copy, then paste here. Or just provide the information & I'll look for it.

Ok. Is the town the 1st or 3rd one listed above? Should be on the certificates you have.

Hi Debra,

The LDS Church (Mormans) have filmed the civil records (birth, marriage, death acts) for your town from 1809-1910.

Here is a link to the available films.
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... o+civile++

Link to locate your nearest LDS-Family history Center.
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp

And a link to a guide on obtaining these films.
http://italiangenealogy.tardio.com/Foru ... =2581.html

Through these films you can usually trace a family back to the mid 1700's.

Hope this helps.
