My Great Grandfather Frank Origlio was married to an Adeline Bucci....I have alot of information about Frank...

Born June 8 1888
Died July 1967
Localities Delaware County, Philadelphia, PA

I also have his ssn...not sure if it would be wise to post it on this board

I cannot seem to find any of his relatives....is there any way I can find his relatives using this information?

Locating his US WW II Draft Card shows that he was born in Naso, Italy.

What we should be looking for initially are census and/or emigration records ...

If someone else doesn't beat me to it, I'll post what I find in a couple of hours ... I'll get the draft card if you don't have it yet. Another good resource would be to look for an obituary.

Any information you can provide on parents or children will assist in confirming the information even closer ...

Heres Franks Draft Info:

U.S. World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942 Record
about Frank Origlio
Name: Frank Origlio
Birth Date: 8 Jun 1888
Residence: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Birth: Naso, Italy
Roll: WW2_2139313
Note regarding the images for the states of PA, MD, VT, and DE. These four states were scanned at the National Archives facility in such a way that the back of one person’s draft card appears on the same image as the front of the next individual. The result is that when you click to view the original image, you will see the correct front side of the draft card, but the back of the previous soldier’s card. Ancestry is aware of this problem, and is working quickly to correct this issue.

What other info can you give us to help make the search easier? Do you know the names of Frank and Adelines parents? How about their childrens names? Approx. what year did they come over? Any small clues will help us place them on a census for you.

Wow you guys are good!! and quick. The last post with the "Oreleo" family is dead on. That's my uncles Sam, Guy, Aunt Joe and Aunt Tini. I have no idea about Frank or Adeline's parents....also, the Origlio's are all from Naso, Sicily and he had a brother named Antonio born May 24 1892...with a death date of December 1979....he also resided in Philadelphia and was from Naso. Thanks alot for the info...I had no idea Adeline was born in New Jersey!

Hello,
you can get Frank Origlio birth certificate, so you know his parents names and jobs and the address where he was born, to:

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
Piazza Roma
cap 98074 Naso (ME)
Italy

or you can get Frank Origlio renting Naso civil record microfilms to FHL (mormon church)

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... aso+%28M++

The microfilm you need is

Nati 1877-1892 FHL INTL Film
1338795

Nati means born (birth)

Archivio di Stato di Messina has the civil records from 1820 to 1865

I hope it helps, bye Riccardo

Once again...you guys are great....one more question for you....I am pretty sure my Great Grandmom Adeline Bucci is from Hammonton, NJ...could you see if there are any records of Bucci's in Hammonton...I think her mother was a Gugliotta...also from Hammonton....I really appreciate you guys taking time to find this info for me...how far do you think I can trace records from Sicily?? I know that was a chaotic area so records may not go back a very long time.
