I am looking for my Great Grand parents and extended family

Postby tkeith06 » 19 Nov 2006, 02:13

 I am looking for my great grandfather and my great grandmother. Names are John DePasquale born January 29, 1892 and died May 24th 1930 I think he died in New York I know he was born in Italy though. My father ( now deceased) told me that they were from southern Italy. My great grandmothers madien name was Rose Gerardi, her birth date was May 18, 1892 and was born in Calabria, Italy. she died on Sept 19, 1972 in Brookly, New York. I know that they had several children but the only ones I have names for are CArmella De Pasquale-Evans-chuisano-ackerman. she was born on may 20th, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York and married Stewart DAvid Evans born aug 4, 1906. I am looking for whatever I can find on them. I am having a terrible time locating anything on my relatives beyond my father on his side.
Thanks for your help.

No harm done..I can link it since I already have it saved.

1930 Census

Were your parents married when they arrived in the US? I found a John but something doesn't add up...he arrived in 1914 but was single.

I think you're right on , vj (as usual). :D Now we just need to see what Terry thinks.

It amazes me how the census takers managed to mangle names!
