Writing to Archivio di Stato di Matera

Postby itye » 20 Nov 2006, 11:15

Hi,
I was hoping to write to the Archivio di Stato di Matera, can someone advise what I can request form them, is it Birth Certificate, Marriage and death records ?

Also is there a charge for this, I have called them and they just told me to send a letter but never mentioned a charge

Thanks
VC

Hi VC,

You can also request males military records & their draft cards, if you have their parents names. No charge, but include a copy of your photo ID, a self addressed return envelope, & an international reply coupon.
