Paula,
We'd be happy to help you look!
Do you have:
- Teresa & Giovanni's father's name?
- Giovanni's approx birth year?
- Teresa's manifest link?
Thanks!

To trace the family in Popoli, you can order the LDS films of the original civil registration records (birth, marriage & death acts). Here is a link to the available filims.

1809-1910 civil records

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... ato+civile++

Here is a guide to obtaining these films.

http://italiangenealogy.tardio.com/Foru ... =2581.html

To locate your nearest LDS-Family History Center.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp

or if you prefer to write for the records>

Ufficio di Stato Civile
Via Salita A. di Cocco, 10
65026 Popoli (PE)
ITALY

Correspondance should be in Italian & include a self addressed return envelope, a copy of your photo ID & an international reply coupon (IRC). The IRC covers the cost of the return postage & can be obtained from your local post office.

Hope this helps.
