On the Ellis Island record she states that she will be taking a job as a housekeeper and staying with her sister Maria. But I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything else about her or anyone else in my family. I don't know if her first husband stayed in Italy or came back. I believe her last husband's last name was Orlando, but I don't know how many times she was married, if it was twice or 3 times. Another of her husbands was a Marturello/Martorello I think.
in the second page Francesco Martorello is listed as husband
for any records you can look up the Mormon'ss microfilms abt Belvedere Marittimo

Re: Di Santo family
Her husband came to Ellis Island first, then sent for his family later. One of his children was my husbands grandfather. He became ill on his journey to the US and almost died. He was only 5 years old. He did recover however and resided in Iowa when he got married. He is the grandfather of my husband. He passed away several years ago. I do have more detailed info on him in case anyone would like it. Also on his children and grandchildren.
