Thank you Nonna J..
I knew I could count on you! Can you believe our young Mike? I know this means at lot to him..and to me of course.
Mike, I swear I'd be lost without Joyce..I can never figure out who to write, where to write or what films to order. But Joyce is a pro at it thankfully.
Thanks again and pitch in. You always find something and the more help the better!

Hi Nuccia,
You & Mike are very welcome. Glad I could help in this small way. And don't sell yourself short! You're a great researcher who could do this part..... It's just like me & manifests......Why bother when you know someone else will do it?
Thanks for the kind words, Nuccia. You have a great day.
Mike,
It is so nice to have a young person involved in genealogy. Hope you will enjoy it for many years to come.

Nuccia and I were talking about Mike on the phone yesterday.........I agree Joyce.......it's fantastic to see a person his age researching family history........and I am sure it's a joy to the elders in the family to have someone of his age interested in hearing the family stories and interested in his roots.......maybe we will get lucky and one of our grandchildren will pick up where we left off......I hope!!!

Re: Could someone hepl me out with the Savoca-Farfaglia Fami
Thank you all for your kind words, you have all put in so much hard work for me and it really means a lot. I think that me comming to this forum was the best idea i ever had, I am learning a lot and making new friends . This is a true life's work that will take me all over, I will spend a bit of my future looking at and exploring other people's past. This room has shown me all the information out there if you have the right tools and the right friends as you go along the way. Hopefully today I can get to an LDS or make a few phone calls to some family. I had no idea of all the help I would be getting 8O but I and so happy about it. And one day I an sure that someone in your families will pick up where you left off, and and continue something they know was done with love by someone they loved. Thank you all for everything you are doing for me.
Re: Could someone hepl me out with the Savoca-Farfaglia Fami
Mike,
What a sweet heart! Thanks......I really hope someone in my family gets the genealogy bug someday.
Can I adopt you?
How are the mid-terms going?

Hi Mike!
How were mid terms today? We'll expect a report on your grades once you get them back..I'm sure they'll be great!
We're really glad you're finding this experience a positive one. One of our goals here has been to encourage a younger generation of researchers to join but its been a challenge to get the word out. We have played with it for a while now..my daughter (9) has posted here briefly but because of the age restrictions set out by the government we have had to make some changes..although she can post with my signed content.
You asked if you could help yesterday..remember? Maybe you can spread the word out there to any of your friends and family and invite them to participate here. I know Edmondo, the Site Administrator would be very interested in following up with the ideas we've toyed with over the last six months if we had the right set up. Of course, theres no obligation..its just a thought.
Meanwhile, did you receive my invite to the other email account? If you have and you set up an account I can email you the chart info I have this far...I want you to look it over but there are too many filters on the account you have now so its blocking any attachments I try to send. Let me know.
Keep us posted on your activities today..we love follow ups..
Oh, and my son didn't think you were strange at all..although he was interested in knowing if your cousin plays Magic in the US or in Italy. I told him I'd ask you!

Re: Could someone hepl me out with the Savoca-Farfaglia Fami
Most of my friends think I am an idiot for doing this so they aren't much good. I have one 17 year old cousin who likes this but she is busy with collage stuff now so she is taking it easy with this now, but she will be back at full speed soon! I would be happy to go visit you, and maybe adoption could follow . I am a kid who loves to travel, I have been going to Croatia where my Grandma has a house. We are in a very small town so I got a lot of dates and names for my moms side. Her great great grandparents came to Croatia from Italy, but I don't know where or when. One really good thing is that a lot of the older family mambers are alive so I can talk to plenty of people. I thnik I did good on the mid-terms I took (except math, but that is my one weak spot) so I am happy with that. I haven't went to look at my mail yet so I will set that up now, and my cousin plays Magic in the US, I will see if he wants to talk with Louis (my cousin isn't very social) but hopefully he will give it a try.

Re: Could someone hepl me out with the Savoca-Farfaglia Fami
Does anyone know if they can find the Farfaglia family in census records from 1920 or 1930? They could be in either Boundbrook NJ, or in the Stamford area of CT. I would like to know more about them, if you could help I would be very happy. There were 6 kids: Giuseppa (Josephine), Jennie, Gaetano (Tom), Nellie, Maria, Lucia (Lucy), and their father was Carmelo Farfaglia. Thanks
Re: Could someone hepl me out with the Savoca-Farfaglia Fami
Would it be possible that Jennie was married by 1930?
