Well, I am looking for my granfather parents. His names are Victorio Briatore (born near 1826) and Felicita Briatore (born near 1842). I am interested in Italian records. They came to Brazil in 1870.
Thanks for any information.

Hi Geucimar,

Welcome to the forum.

Since your grandparents immigrated to Brazil, there isn't much we can do for you, except to provide some links & some advice.

To trace family in Italy, you need to know the exact town of birth information. This information is hopefully obtained by getting family records from the country they immigrated to. So, here is a research guide for Brazil that explains the different records, what information each may contain & where to obtain the records.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/ ... Brazil.ASP

Here is an immigration to Brazil site. It is a free site, but you do need to register.

Hope these help some & good luck in your research.
