Update on Monteleone
My grandfather Salvatore Monteleone (b. 1880) arrived New Orleans 1902
His sister Anna Maria or Marianna Monteleone (b. 1878) arrived Ellis Island 1906
Brother Cosimo/Cosmo Monteleone (b. 1883) arrived New Orleans 1913
All were single. I have not been able to find any soild evidence of the Cosmo and Maria Anna in the US, only tantilizing clues.
Another brother Giuseppe b. 1870 married to Fortunata Sardegna of Lercara Friddi, and is said to have lived in the US for 12 years, and then went home to Alia. No sign of him here.
And yes I have checked the census of 1910, 1920, 1930, but only find my grandfather in the 1920 census.

Their mother was Cosima Damiana Tripi b. 1848, to Mercurio Tripi and Natala Barcellona
Father was Cosimo Maria Liborio Monteleone, b. 1834 to Giuseppe Monteleone and Maria Anna D'Aura

Related by marriage to:
Todaro, di Piazza, Dionisi, Costanza

If anyone is related or have any information about these people, please contact. I also have a lot of information to share if you have questions.

Cosimo as alreardy established arrived in 1913, and was in Delaware in 1917. I found his 1942 World War 2 Draft Card living in New York, and again in 1957 at age 73 applying for US citizenship, also in New York. He never married.

Found that Marianna went back to Sicily, most likely sent back as a single woman, because she is found again coming through Ellis Island in 1908, then disappears.

Found Giuseppe at Ellis Island in 3/13/1904 and had a notation that he was here in 1901-1903. Probably went back just before WW1
He married in Lercara Friddi in 15 -11 -1894 with Fortunata Sardegna .

If anything sounds realated please contact
