Associazione Carpanzanese in Toronto?
As I understand it, many Italian immigrants from the commune of Carpanzano (CZ) Calabria settled in the Toronto area. I've heard of their Associazione Carpanzanese from another website. I'd love to contact people from that group in the hope of finding relatives. My grandparents came to the US from Carpanzano and I'm in the process of doing extensive research with the LDS files. Can anyone help? Thanks.

CarpanzanoGal,
As strange as this may seem, I found Canadians from my grandfather's comune on Facebook. Facebook is very popular in Canada mostly among younger groups. Give it a try. Go onto Facebook and search your comune name. If that does not work, start searching surnames.
You will be surprised at what you may find (I hope). Also, have you checked Canadian border crossings on Ancestry?
