Looking for the Scriffignano family from Agira, Italy (Sicily).
Giuseppe (Joseph) Scriffignano, born Jan. 6, 1863. He married Ignasia Campa, born 1859 or 1862. They married around 1885. Their children were Ernestina, Pietro, Filippo, Angelo, and Carmella. The family came to the United States at different times (1902, 1903, and 1905). They lived in New York City and Newark, New Jersey.

Hi Jackie,

Ships manifest for Angelo and Pietro.
Lines 15 and 16

http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup ... &line=0016

Manifest for Ignasia, Carmella and Francesco (whom you didn't list as one of the children)
Lines 27, 28 and 29

Haven't had any luck with Ernestina.

By the way, Hoboken NJ is an address for Giuseppe also.

If it still might be of an interest, the agira Scriffignano also immigrated in France. It has been checked to be the same root as the one in the US.
