I am researching my wife's family history. Her family immigrated from San Lucido, Cosenza, Italy and setteled in Erie, PA. Unfortunalty I have no real information from before they came to the US. The info I have is:

b: 12/25/1876 - Italy
d: 10/1964 - Erie

M: Maria Carbone*
b: 1883 - Italy
d: 1952 - Erie, PA

Grazia Adeline Trombetta - Italy
Pietro Trombetta - b:11/9/1904 - Italy d:6/5/1988 Erie
Norma Trombetta b: Erie
Thomas Trombetta b: Erie
Cecelia Trombetta b: 9/28/1913 Erie d:6/3/1995 Erie
Enrico Trombetta b:8/29/1916 Erie d: 2/7/1997 Erie

*Maria Carbone's mother was:

Mary Theresa Climante
b:1855
d:1940

She was married to a Carbona and had 3 known children:

Maria
Vincenzo Carbona b:4/3/1886 d:1957
Pietro Carbona b:10/11/1892 d:1957

Apparently Natale made two trips. On the 1st, he was being met by a cousin, Luigi Raimondo of Erie. On the second, he was being met by brother Antonio and left a wife Maria(it looks like Barbieri) in S.Lucido

Don't know about a Raimondo connection...will have to look into it.

I do know that Maria comming into the US in 1910 was my wife's great grandmother.

Dino,

Take a look at this manifest for Vincenzo Carbone and note who is meeting him. The line through his name means he didn't sail, but is this Maria's brother?

The math would make sense. In 1904 Maria's brother Vincenzo would have been 18 yrs old, and the Raimondo cousin could be a link to Natale.
