Since you have full name, date of birth and place of birth you can request birth records from the comune by going to Ufficio di Stato Civile and requesting same. I assume you know you have to write to the Ufficio di Stato Civile in the towns in Italian. If there is any problem then get back to me. Peter

I also have Olivari ancestors, from Camogli, but I'm not familiar with the names that you have listed. I do remember from visiting there that there were pages of Olivaris in the local phone directory.

Have you contacted the church called "Sanctuario della Santa Maria del Boschetto" in Camogli? They have a gallery of paintings of ships of local people who were either lost at sea or who survived shipwrecks. They may also have some info on the family members you are trying to research.

Costanza Olivari is the name of my great-grandmother, and she would have been born in the 1840s in Camogli. Does the name appear in your ancestral tree?

Hello, my name is Juana Ferro Oneto. I'm from Argentina and I'm looking for information about my great-great grand father, called Fortunato Oneto. Her borned around 1830, in Camogli, Genova, and married Catalina Aste there too. May be he could be a relative to Domenico Oneto and Maria Oneto. I would like to know if you could get the information you were looking for, because I'm in the same searching process.

I'll be glad to receive news from you,
Best regards,
Juana.
